Marketo was implemented by our professional services firm to improve nurturing of our leads. Before Marketo, we used Mailchimp, which was simple but not sophisticated enough for our growth ambitions. The Marketing Team led the purchasing decision and is now responsible for the platform, which includes onboarding new customers and improving recurring revenue.

Marketo assists with improving onboarding new customers and improving returning revenue for existing customers through the use of marketing activities such as email nurtures and email blasts. Combined with personalisation, the automation features are core to ensuring customers receive the best communication at the best time. We also use Marketo to reengage previous customers.
We chose Marketo due to its ease of integration with SugarCRM. We now have a custom connector.
