Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Right now Marketo is being used as our main marketing automation platform. Practically, I would say it's been most used and effective as our email marketing and lead scoring machine.
- Email Marketing - You can create segmentations for different audience groups. Marketers also have control in terms of scheduling and timing email sends in advance.
- Lead Scoring - Gives marketing teams the ability to quantify certain behaviors and actions
- Marketo Forms - Can integrate Marketo forms onto Wordpress and other platforms where forms can be added. required.
- The inability to delete custom fields in a easy way is painful as an admin. Currently to delete fields it requires submitting a support ticket.
- Admins are unable to edit existing segmentation lists if it's tied to a campaign. I understand how this can be a means of protection but it also means that if the list exists in multiple running campaigns then most likely the admin has more incentive to create a new segment list instead of creating an existing one. Overall, it ends up creating more segmentation lists than we would like.
