Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
We use Microsoft 365 enterprise-wide for reports, PowerPoint for training, email, contracts, documents, etc. Everything is highly intuitive and easy to use, [and] offers more functions than we need. One aspect of this product that needs serious work by the developer(s) is the Outlook email function. It is cumbersome and applies "rules" inconsistently. I frequently find valid email in my junk folder, after I created a rule for that originator (multiple times, actually). I occasionally find junk email in my inbox. Google's and Yahoo's algorithms are excellent at separating valid and junk email. That is the only complaint about the product. The support.... different story. Microsoft continues to use the pandemic as the excuse for poor customer service ("during these difficult times"). Funny how other companies of similar size and stature have rebounded and found a work-around to the COVID issues.
- Document creation and editing.
- Excel is highly intuitive and the Help function actually has helpful hints (for a change).
- PowerPoint remains the dominant delivery method - also highly intuitive with new graphic options.
- Outlook email - see previous comments about junk mail rules.
- Customer service needs serious leadership.
- Document management.
- Spreadsheet reporting.
- Training with PowerPoint.
- Improved efficiency.
- Improved training retention.
- Accurate spreadsheet calculations.
Microsoft 365 is far better than LibreOffice, though we keep Libre for backup.
