Overall Satisfaction with MindManager

I currently use it to track thought processes and team discussions as well as forecast work initiatives. Today it is used by select groups in my org and there are features missing that I wish it had.

  • Project Planning
  • Grouping ideas and concepts
  • Categorization of prioritized tasks
  • Plays nice with other tools (web browser, and ms word etc)
  • I am really missing the capabilities to do timelines and customize shapes of flow charts.
  • There is not a large selection of templates in the app to use.
I’m not sure

  • It has really helped me organize my thoughts and comments from others
I use it to break out rally features outside of the tool and add notes and comments for later review. It also is a great tool for knowledge transfers and webinars in tracking discussion points.
MindManager is best overall.
With my aforementioned comments it's still a rock solid app for the purposes I use it for. My colleagues would definitely find value in [utilizing] it. Being able to track work in a tree-based structure really helps me visualize what done and what's not.
