Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's an awesome platform allowing me and my team to share designs, ideas and receive feedback from our stakeholders. It constantly gets updated with cool new functions, and it's quite stable. We get a chance to go thru the approval and review process much quicker and with fewer emails & chats back and forth.
  • Accepts lots of document formats (JPG, PNG, PDF, Links...).
  • Allows great collaboration with other teams.
  • Easy to use when you need a quick draft.
  • Visually it could look a bit less chunky.
  • Zoom function is a bit hard to grasp at first.
  • Since the boards are so huge maybe a better visualization for where the last comment was placed.
  • 100% better review process since it can be done with a sticker a post-it or just with a pen on the iPad.
  • All in one place, think we all prefer having as much information as possible just there in one place, and Miro does integrate with many apps as well.
  • Can be used for as simple things like decorating your "happy place" to the organization of important projects.
I have used Milanote for years before a colleague introduced Miro. At first visually I didn't fancy it much, but with time and all the possibilities that I started uncovering, I was amazed. And to top that you get to export your board, save it if you need to go back to this project in the future. Truly great app.
Unfortunately, I only know that Miro has this function but have not used any of the integration tools. My company uses Jira for day-to-day organization, but we as my team are unable to use it in conjunction with Miro. I presume these integrations work very well as most things on Miro do.
It's amazing, love the mouse trace function, and also the fact that you can hide the mouse when needed. It helps coworkers collaborate more smoothly, with the mouse cursor showing who is on the board and what he or she is talking about. In this day and age, it's a perfect and must-have tool.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

There were probably a few more back in the day, but Miro in my opinion is at this point a much more sophisticated tool, that constantly gets improvements and new gadgets added. Freedom of well to me at least endless board effect is great, with Milanote I had so many frustrations when in the middle of an idea you ran out of space...
I have recommended Miro to most of my colleagues, including people that just use the free version for sketching during an online meeting, pasting images for an idea board, or simply for approval and review of ongoing projects. Wouldn't mind if it had a bit better chat function, but that would then be a totally different app. :)
