Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to organize everything on our team. From client interviews to Value Proposition exercises, roadmap planning, and ideation sessions. It's a great way to plan and visualize our product strategy for the next years and to work remotely and collaboratively as a team. Also, it's very useful when we need to showcase our roadmap to other teams and quickly add notes with suggestions made by them. This is the first time some members of my team are working with Miro and they found it very easy and intuitive to use.
  • Organize insights from user interviews and other discovery excercises
  • Remote group sessions
  • Product strategy for the next years in a visual way
  • It could have templates for presentations within Miro
  • Sometimes I want to use connection lines just to draw something and it always "transform itself" into a connection line. sometimes just want to use a line
  • When using the free version, I would like to approve if other people create a new board in my team
  • I don't have the numbers, but we replaced the use of post-it for Miro (it was a lot of posts its, especially when we had workshop sessions in person)
  • Improved productivity as the discussion would happen in a physical way and then somebody on the team would take all the insights and organize it in a way that made sense, then put everything on appt. Now we do everything in Miro, is faster and easier.
I can't comment on that as I was not a part of the implementation
I can't comment on that as we don't use Miro integrated with other solutions here. We use Miro as a stand-alone product.
It is much easier to work remotely with Miro, everything is in one place, people can do the same exercise at the same time without it turning into chaos. Members of the team can access the board every time they want and add more information, new insights. Also, when we switched from in-person workshops sessions to Miro, we had some feedback that people would prefer this way as it is easier to give opinions in a more anonymous way (this came from a high-level director).

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
As a customer since it was 'Realtime board', I am team Miro for life! I think it's easier to use and the design is better, it works better when we have a session with a lot of people using it at the same time. Last month I was in a workshop session that used Mural and it was terrible, the layout is weird and it would freeze frequently as we were in a group of 50+ people working at the same time.
Well suited: remote session where your team needs to work collaboratively when you need a place to put user insights and interviews and work on them when you need to organize a timeline or roadmap or customer journey, service blueprint, kanban exercises with your team, etc Everything that needs to be visual can be done in Miro. Not suited: when you need to have a database of information, for example, a place where you put all of your user insights for future use, I think excel or notion would be more useful in this scenario, as you need to have a search engine or filter options
