Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to collaborate with my Team colleagues. We are located around Europe and use it for workshops, ideation, and roadmap developments. We also use it on a weekly basis in our Team meetings - we use a Miro dashboard to inform each other about what are our current projects and plans for the near future. It really makes remote-working teams much more productive.
- Real-time collaboration
- Variety of templates
- online workshop space
- Compatibility with Asana
- Roadmap templates could be added / gantt charts etc.
- Connectivity with Outlook / OneNote so you could export some data directly to Miro
- Documented ideas from workshops - directly on Miro, not on photos in somebody's phone
- Better accessibility to our Team performance data
- Better Projects visibility and roadmap
We are located across 4 countries in Europe so meeting in person was always time-consuming and expensive. Having Miro, we can now simultaneously work through the entire workshop and each one of us can actively participate. Also, you can go back to a dashboard if we get some ideas between meetings or the next workshop. It also helps us through integration with Asana.

- Microsoft Visio and MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Visio did not have the functionality we needed so our Team was quick to drop it. MURAL was OK but a bit more expensive. Some of our colleagues were also using Miro in their previous roles so we also went with their recommendation. This speeded up the implementation process as we already had two experienced users on our team.
