Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- Instantly tell where an asset is and when it will publish.
- Missed deadlines are much less likely.
- Status updates are super quick, so it's a big time saver.
Our editorial team uses it for tracking all hanoffs for our client publications including the final steps that involve our team carrying the item through to publication on the client sites. My team uses it for tracking all different types of projects also, but the primary use is for when the handoff occurs for client publications. We also use it to track rocks for multiple workgroups.
- @mentions.
- Radio buttons.
- Scheduling.
- Tracking.
- Calendaring.
- Automation.
- Status checks.
- Handoffs.
- Versioning.
- Mobile app.
- Desktop app and web app flexibility.
- Automatic email notification.
- Slack integration.
- Ability to control permissions for status (private status); the ability to add editorial comments, etc. that not all team members can view and edit.
- Folder storage with document versioning control (similar to the way SharePoint (SP) handles docsets). It would be nice to use monday.com for tracking and all versioning, rather than to continue to use both SP and monday.com.
- Inbox and notifications are handled differently on mobile, and this can cause problems when attempting to delete items from your list on mobile. More than once I have inadvertently deleted something from the mobile that should have remained. Also, there is redundancy between inbox and notifications in the app and on the web. I'm sure part of this is a user issue, but I often find myself reviewing, liking, deleting, etc., the same items from both locations.
I actually don't remember a time when monday.com was down or not responsive. It is always available, via browser or app (Mac OS X), for quick updates, handoffs, and for file downloads and access. It's been a great tool.
