Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • We have been able to track projects without disturbing technicians.
  • Lower cost than many project management tools.
We use monday.com throughout our company to track large to medium sized projects. It was intended to solve the 'where are we with that' question. For larger projects such as website rebuilds and ad campaigns over platforms we have used monday.com as well.
  • Project timelines.
  • Breakdowns of complicated step by step projects.
  • Cumbersome.
  • It isn't nearly as intuitive as hoped. Some of the more robust features are difficult to implement.
There is a fairly steep learning curve to monday.com. While some people have been easily onboarded, many others were not. The integration with Zoom has been helpful during Covid, but it isn't great as a way to manage files and documents associated with projects. Our most often used tool is as a change management tool for design projects. It handles time stamps on requests really well.
Customer Service for monday.com has been excellent. Even at the bottom tier of pricing the company is very responsive. The most in depth tech integration questions are easily and quickly answered. During Covid the customer service for both billing and tier changes were incredibly fast and helpful.
monday.com has very little downtime ever. We have been pleasantly surprised with how well it works with very rare instances of any errors or downtime.

monday.com works well to track larger projects with a multiple steps or smaller projects within the larger whole project. Each and every employee needs to be completely bought in to using it daily. For technicians, monday.com can be labor intensive as a different step and platform that must be integrated into workflow.

However for management and owners, it can be incredibly helpful in allowing the project status be shared without the normal 'where are we' conversations.
