Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

For our accounting and advising firm, we use monday.com (MDC, as we call it) to organize tasks and timelines for a number of clients. Ranging from 10-20 clients at a time thus far, we create a board for each one, and within those boards we have different groupings that track the status levels: New Task, In Process, Done. We also utilize a number of automations and other cool features that help keep us on track such as tracking duplicatable tasks, automation of dates, etc. With sensitive timelines and various levels of compliance, depending not the client, it is pertinent we stay on things and monday.com does just that for us. monday.com also holds all of our communications for those tasks. We utilize the note/comment functions as well as the function to attach files and directly mention someone for notifications. Perhaps the best part is the ability to use a custom email address for each task that can be dropped into the "TO," "CC," OR "BCC" of an email and that email updates in the task.

One thing the team has found using the platform over the last there years is it's customizable and potentially far more powerful than we even realize. The amount we have adjusted it to fit our needs over the years and the integrations monday.com continuously comes up with is quite impressive.
  • Automations
  • Integrations
  • Powerful Support
  • The "My Work" page has had some great upgrades but isn't as efficient of a view just yet.
  • The automations tend to run slow or revert if you don't take your time.
  • Some of the automation set up was lengthy and confusing, but overall was beneficial.
  • The price can get a bit high vs. the number of "seats" used, but it is worth it if the application is being used to its potential.
  • Increases collaboration, which is a huge positive point!
I want to give it a 10, but considering the application across all devices, especially mobile, it does lack a bit. The desktop app is almost perfect, but it can be a bit odd to navigate sometimes. The mobile app isn't as user-friendly if you want to do any type of changes such as duplicating, deleting, adding, etc.
I have reached out to support a few times and most often never waited longer than 5 minutes for a response and solution. If support did not have a solution yet, they acknowledged my request and informed me one was coming. They have ALWAYS followed up after the fact.
The performance is generally pretty great. Occasionally the automations don't work as designed and will revert. This does cause a loss of productivity on occasion, but it is not as frequent to become an issue. Downtown is rare as in monday.com goes down, whether for maintenance or some other sort of issue, during the day on very rare occasions.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

I would particularly refer monday.com to a friend or colleague simply for the massive capabilities it has to project plan & manage, regardless of the size of the project. The application has powerful capabilities to build to your needs and new integrations are being implemented all the time. Best of all, the support is quick and often will do what you need if you just ask!
