Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP
We use NetSuite ERP for GL purposes and it helps a lot with our consolidation as we have multiple entities under one parent entity. NetSuite ERP integrates with our revenue recognition software and our AP management software in order to pull that information into our GL.
- Consolidating multiple entities for high level reporting
- bank feed matching
- automated amortization entries
- overall the software design is not very user friendly and is pretty outdated looking
- the permissions settings for different users are not very logical either. it took my company a long time to get each role's permissions set up properly and we still run into things that people don't have access to when they should
- saving hours of employee time on consolidating at month end
- saved time on manually adding amortization entries each month. schedules are all housed in NetSuite ERP now
Quickbooks is more user friendly and is designed better and really great for smaller businesses however, many companies will end up outgrowing it and need some of the NetSuite ERP functionality. We integrate Maxio with NetSuite ERP and we also integrated it with Quickbooks and I would recommend this. Maxio, for a SaaS business, has better report functionalities and is a huge time saver for billing and subscription management. We also integrate Airbase for our AP function. Airbase has a great design and effective approval hierarchy's which helps us manage expenses.
