Overall Satisfaction with Nutanix AOS
We run VMware Horizon VDI on Nutanix for around 200 users.
- Performance - Nutanix performs very well, it's fast!
- Cost - it's the best HCI platform out there.
- Support - Nutanix support has never let us down.
- Hard to identify where they could improve.
- It would be hard for me to put a figure on it, but for all the previous reasons, price, performance, reliability, support, it's made a positive ROI.
- Rack space. I reclaimed so much after upgrading to Nutanix.

its the best for a reason from sales to support.
We did receive training from Nutanix and whilst the certification is a useful benchmark for staff, in reality we use about 10% of what we covered in the course on our day to day management. It's quite easy to pick up the basics. Once you're in Prism you can click and learn!
I've been a big Nimble fan and would consider it if I was deploying in a green field site (it always comes down to price of course).
Nutanix are an existing supplier so for now it makes the choice easier.
We did look at VxRail but again for the VDI solution Nutanix won out.
