Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is mainly used by our marketing team across business lines. It allows us to engage with prospective and current clients with informative and interactive content. The problems it addresses is how to reach a wide audience in times that are convenient for them in a way that is convenient for them.

  • Engaging users - It allows attendees to engage with polls, bios, resources, and more all within the console. It looks great and can help keep people engaged if they aren't super interested in the content.
  • Technology - There are no downloads involved! Huge Plus!
  • Reporting - The reports and salesforce integration are super helpful and reliable.
  • Set Up - The set up is not the most intuitive and takes a bit to get used to.
  • Console - The console is also a bit confusing.
  • Attendee Help - This is a unique platform, so helping attendees navigate could be a improved.
ON24 is integrated with our SalesForce (CRM) and Pardot (Marketing Automation) software. We typically use it to provide information to our account managers and sales leads so they can follow up with registrants/attendees. We then use the integration for multi-touch attribution and ROI reports within SalesForce. Additionally, we could create landing pages within Pardot, but have chosen not to.

There are some instances where the integration with SalesForce goes down and the ON24 team could be more proactive in addressing that. Overall the platform itself is very reliable.
Given that in-person events have not been possible, ON24 has allowed us to quickly ramp up virtual events, specifically webinars, that have helped us dispense valuable information to our customers and prospects.
ON24 offers more branding, better service, and more interactive elements than the other systems. Additionally, joining events is much easier with ON24 than with other platforms.
This is not something that we have used
It is best suited for large webinars or training where you want to present. It is not conducive for smaller webinars or ones which you would like people to speak back to you. It is really ideal for educational purposes for both prospects and current clients, making it is a great use case for client retention or lead generation.

ON24 and Communications During a Pandemic

ON24 has some wonky features and can be a bit slow in creating events. For example, although it gets easier over time, the recording process for semi-live events is a bit Overall the platform is fairly easy to use but takes time to learn how to maximize all of the features needed to create a meaningful and engaging online event.
