Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is used to execute webinar programs across different business areas, serving B2C, B2B, and recruitment audiences.

  • ON24 provides a robust self-service platform that allows users to craft an experience tailored to the content or audience. It allows its users to be really in control of the registration and event environments in an easy-to-execute format.
  • ON24 provides a robust set of interactive tools for live events that go beyond the typical polling and chatting, and can be used creatively to produce effective webinars and events.
  • The data platform is incredible and provides so many key points, ways to splice the data, and also allows for (more or less) seamless integrations into internal CRMs and other data systems.
  • The customer service needs a major overhaul. It's built up so much but falls flat in the end because there is so much inconsistency among various ON24 representatives, from sales to account management, to event management.
  • ON24 is great, but once you start really poking under the hood, there are a lot of faults or misrepresentations in the product capabilities that are not hard to detect if you are really looking. They do a great job of selling a bloated product but are not as upfront with its shortcomings. It hurts trust and credibility.
  • I haven't used the video player feature in awhile because it was always hit or miss --- just too unreliable to use on a large webinar.
  • They need better conference bridge providers...and ones that are more cost-effective. The reality is that so many people still want to use a traditional dial-in, and they should make it easier and more affordable for clients to implement and offer to their audiences.
  • The sales and renewal process is grueling. ON24 should try to remember that while it is a leading webinar platform, it's not the only one. ON24 should make a better effort to treat renewing clients like valued clients, no matter how much they are spending. IN24 also needs to remember that webinars will become dated one day, and so it could stand to be less arrogant with renewals and pricing overall.
We've had issues with customer service, both in terms of responsiveness and attitude.
  • I don't think ON24 provides the best ROI given how expensive it is.
  • However, the platform has allowed us to reached tens of thousands of consumers in an engaging way.
ON24 provides the most flexibility, options for customization, ease of use, and best reporting platform for external, consumer-facing lead generation events. It's too bloated and expensive for basic video streaming or internal training, where some of the other options would perform more optimally.
I think ON24 is suitable for a variety of training and live event situations. It's not good for events where participants need to collaborate with each other.
