Overall Satisfaction with ON24

Siemens Molecular Imaging uses ON24 for our eTraining webinars to our global sales specialists. It's an easy way to communicate information and to execute sales training for our global sales team. Our marketing and sales department uses it as does our clinical marketing department but it is not being used by the entire organization.

  • User interface is simple and easy for presenters and audience.
  • Recordings of webinars are easily accessible. The on-demand feature has been very useful for those that can't attend the live session.
  • The analytics are useful in seeing how many people and who are participating in the webinar.
  • A mouse pointer to be able to point at things on a PowerPoint presentations in the webinar - we have requested this for 3 years and it doesn't seem to get much traction with the developers.
  • More flexible contracts - it is very annoying to have to commit to a large number of events that have an expiry date - you either have too few or too many and then you lose events, which costs money.
  • On several occasions when I've had problems with the software I have been told its a user problem, which is enormously frustrating. I have then had to prove that it's not a user problem in order to get any support for it. When you're paying a lot for a service the least they could do is provide customer support for that service that doesn't make you feel like an idiot.
ON24 is reliable. It's always there when I need it.
  • We can now see how many people we are training and how many are viewing the recording on demand - we didn't have access to these analytics before.
  • We are doing more webinars because there is no restriction on when we can do them - we're not sharing a platform with another department as we did before.
ON24, INXPO and Zoom are all very similar in what they can do. I had not evaluated any other webinar companies besides Adobe Connect when I decided to go with ON24. I may go with INXPO once my current contract with ON24 expires though.
ON24 is well suited to companies that are looking to generate leads. It is less well suited to companies that are doing sales training. It's a good product so I'd recommend it but it does depend what you want to use it for.
