OpenHire
Overall Satisfaction with OpenHire
OpenHire was used across the whole organization to manage our recruiting process. It took a manual process and automated it. OpenHire was easy to implement, easy to use, pretty intuitive and did not require a lot of maintenance or support. The program made the approval process easy and managers were able to do it on the go. All the candidates were in one place and it was easy to manage the positions from opening to closing.
Pros
- Easy to implement
- User friendly and intuitive
- Cost efficient
- Helpful customer service
Cons
- After the position was closed, the candidates associated with that role went into a general folder of "past candidates", they were no longer associated with the role.
- Better customer service from HR, the tool gave us ability to notify every candidate of where they were in the process, this was not possible when the process was manual
- Made HR more efficient, by having the information at our finger tips, giving us the ability to run metrics and reports during the time that the company more than doubled in time.
- Oracle PeopleSoft
OpenHire is more straight forward because it caters to smaller organizations and does not have the features that Oracle does. Oracle takes longer to open a position and go through the process because it is geared to larger organizations that have different requirements and reporting obligations. OpenHire was easy to implement as well.
