Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation

We use Optimizely Web Experimentation for A/B testing on a variety of websites across our Enterprise. It allows us to quickly and easily set up tests without the assistance from engineering and development teams. Items that we’ve tested include different copy for CTA buttons, page placement, images, and colors. Optimizely Web Experimentation allows us to easily set up the test, run it, and see the results to drive better decisions for digital content.
  • A/B Testing
  • Automated Testing
  • Clear Results/Reporting
  • Integration with certain platforms (e.g. Angular and/or Magnolia)
  • Ability to demonstrate attribution for marketing activities
  • Ability to make changes that increase conversion and revenue
  • Ability to run turn-key A/B tests without support from technical teams (or agency costs)
The platform makes it easier for multiple users to access the platform and conduct their own tests and results. It's also easy to manage sites and users. At my organization, 10 different users have licenses to be able to set up tests, run them, and view results/reports for more than 40 sites across our Enterpise. Optimizely Web Experimentation makes it easy to manage tests in one platform across all of our websites.
Optimizely Web Experimentation has allowed us to create A/B and multivariant tests quickly and easily to get real-time results from users to prove theories or opinions and understand what drives desired behavior and conversion goals. This allows us to make changes to our websites that we can objectively and quantifiably measure the results to achieve the best outcomes. It also helps us make use real data and results from live tests with users rather than relying on subjective feedback from executives or stakeholders.
We've used Optimizely Web Experimentation for A/B and multivariant testing of our websites and it works very well for this type of testing. It's easy for a non-technical person to use to set up tests, monitor results, and access reporting in order to make decisions. We did have some challenges with more advanced tests on certain platforms/code base (angular and/or Magnolia) but for simple sites it worked very well.
