Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
Paycom is our current software for HCM at our company. It connects almost all aspects of HCM in one place.
- Paycom is user friendly for employees.
- Paycom has the capability to customize any report you may need.
- Paycom has an app for managers called manager-on-the-go which allows managers to approve time off from their smartphone.
- Paycom vacation accrual system is glitchy. The system does not award hours on a consistent basis. I have to email our specialist at least 3 times a month regarding this issue. The response I get from my specialist is always ‘I have reached out to the IT team’. It is frustrating that their IT team has not been able to get this taken care of.
- Paycom does not prenote direct deposit account numbers. This is a big issue. Employees have the capability to update their direct deposit through their employee self-service but if they enter a wrong number, it is a problem. Paycom releases funds on paydays whether the account is valid or not and we have to wait until Paycom returns the funds back to us before we can issue a live check to the employee. This process can take up to 7 business days. This could be avoided if Paycom would prenote the direct deposit accounts.
- The reports provided in Paycom have positioned our payroll department to better assist our Finance team.
We were able to consolidate our health benefit and performance review software with Paycom. This has been a great benefit because all the employee information stays with the employee in one place.
Our first live payroll submission with Paycom was extremely difficult however, we had the support of our transitional specialist who stayed on the phone with us for hours and worked overnight with the rest of the Paycom team to help get our payroll submitted.
Our leadership team can run roster reports at any time and check headcounts which helps during budget meetings.
