Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
The Time & Labor and the Payroll areas are used. We also have FSA/HSA/Cobra through Paylocity. We had 10 different EIN #'s so I run 10 different payroll semi-monthly. I have had issues with the monthly billing invoices, and I have had issues with the tax department on getting the new tax rates set up correctly each January.
- making direct deposits happen the next day after submittal when pay dates don't allow for the one banking day between submittal and direct deposit
- The reps on the phone are usually very knowledgeable when I call in with questions
- communication - always receiving emails about updates in the system
- the tax department needs to be more accurate when entering new tax rates yearly
- the billing department needs to know how much a client should be billed
- I have used a number of different payroll sites in previous jobs, and I am the one that selected Paylocity within 6 months of being hired at this job, and I feel Paylocity is the best payroll system that I have used so far.
I like that I can upload the Time & Labor right to the Payroll dashboard - what a time saver not to have to enter hours manaully
Unfortunately these items are not used at this time. The company is spread out over 3 states and 10 different payrolls, so they do not care to share info from office to office.
I definitely prefer the ease of using Paylocity over any other payroll systems that I have used.
