Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to have an all-inclusive HRIS. From recruiting to onboarding, training, payroll, and employee information management, it does it all for us. We no longer have one product for schedules, a different one for timekeeping, yet another one for training, and something completely different for onboarding. We are able to house all aspects of employee info from the day in the same system.
- Payroll processing.
- Time keeping.
- Employee info tracking.
- Reporting is okay. It gets you all the information you need, but it's sometimes difficult to navigate their report writing to get exactly what you need and only that.
- Communication of changes could be improved. Sometimes updates are made but aren't communicated to the company admins.
- Reduced time spent on payroll.
- Saves time from the start with new employees by utilizing Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR & Payroll models.
- Set up and distribution for online training is super easy. If you hire a bunch of employees at one time (even if you don't), you can have the system automatically assign certain training to the employee based on their employment type/position.
We are able to schedule employees right in the same system as our timekeeping. You are able to see the employee's schedule, benefit balance (PTO), etc. right there on the employee's timecard. I don't know how many times I had to toggle back and forth between systems to check something before we had Paylocity. Now it seems like all the info you need is right there.
The community has helped us tremendously when it comes to employee communication. As things happen throughout the day, we are able to provide updates to our employees via Community. No longer do we have to send numerous emails and worry we missed someone.
Paylocity is all-encompassing. We are able to do so much more from the employer aspect than we could with ADP. What's more, our employees enjoy the app and website more than ADPs. It's more user-friendly, has an area easily accessible to research PEAK articles if you need help, and our employees are able to clock in and out on the app. This saves so much time at the timeclock. No more long lines to clock in!
