Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for many HR processes including Onboarding and Payroll. As we are an independent State government agency, we do not use it for benefits. We use Community, Learning Management System, and the Performance Management System for coaching and compensation reviews. We also use surveys for many different items from Favorite Things to Choosing the new Logo.
  • Onboarding is simplified and easy.
  • Coaching is made consistent and easy across the organization with the Performance Management System.
  • Community allows employees to interact in a less formal way.
  • FMLA - This is not very user friendly when it comes to tracking FMLA.
  • Managing Team Items when you have more access than a regular manager. It would be nice to be able to view my team as a team even though I have access to all employees.
  • Reports need to be more straightforward and user friendly. It is sometimes hard to find the needed report and understand what each report does.
  • Time saving.
  • Coaching and Review processes are more consistent across the organization.
Time tracking works great and saves time from having to do any manual calculations. If FMLA time tracking could be as easy as regular time tracking that would be awesome. We currently use a different application for talent acquisition and applicant tracking, so not familiar with this application in Paylocity.
The employment engagement tools have only enhanced the positive culture we have.

Paylocity is very robust and for the most part user friendly. Needs help in reports and FMLA areas.
