Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We implemented Paylocity to replace our outdated Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and allow for seamless integration by using their Applicant Tracking System (ATS). We currently utilize the HR & Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding, surveys and Learning Management System (LMS) in Paylocity. We are hoping to implement the use of Expenses and Workflows next year. One of our primary reasons for switching HRIS was to allow for better integration with our numerous external platforms and benefits vendors. At 1 year post-implementation we have approximately 50% of our file feeds working to seemly integrate our systems. We had a difficult time during the implementation phase with Paylocity and it only continued to get worse as our account manager with Paylocity has changed multiple times throughout the past year. We have been diligent about communicating with Paylocity in instances where there is room for system optimization and we are very optimistic as it seems there are constant improvements being made and recapped on monthly. Ultimately we like the system and it has been a major improvement for us but the customer service seems to be lacking.

Paylocity's automation tools have helped eliminate several manual processes but we are still working on several additional automations. We do not use the scheduling feature in Paylocity as it does not seem like it would adequate support our scheduling needs in the Healthcare industry. The onboarding features of Paylocity that can automatically move information to new employees HR & Payroll files has improved efficiency and accuracy dramatically.
We are not currently utilizing these features in the Paylocity system to capture information on employee satisfaction and focus on employee recognition. These tasks were not a priority for our organization as we utilize a separate system to round with our employees and offer recognition at this time. We may consider this functionality further down the road. We do currently have some employees that post on our community boards recognizing each other but it is not widely known or used.
