Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity for payroll, onboarding, managing employee personal/employment information, learning, and time & attendance.

  • Payroll processing including punching in/out
  • Payroll adding pay types and pay codes
  • Payroll reinstating employees
  • Better response time with Service/assistance with problem solving
  • Initial General Ledger setup requires more time
  • More online help instructions made available
  • Positives are more consistent payroll process;
  • Reduced time with onboarding and payroll processing
Paylocity has allowed me more time to focus on administrative duties i.e. personnel, compliance, benefits, budgeting, and health/wellness benefits.
As a new client, I am learning more about the above products weekly. Learning videos have provided the staff with excellent engagement tools. The school nurse and I are looking to add some health videos.
Paylocity provides more services i.e. onboarding, which allows on-line processing of personal information and forms needed to complete the process. In addition, employees are able to view/download their paystubs and update their banking and withholding as needed.

Again, payroll process is well suited. However, when a new pay type or pay code is needed, a detail setup process for the code/type is needed immediately.

Using Paylocity

80 - Administrators, teachers, and aides utilize Paylocity to track work hours and leave time daily. In addition, to monitor and/or update their personal information, banking information, pay stubs, and tax forms. The Learning tab provides a great online took for annual compliance training.
3 - A user with 3 years of experience, a technology support specialist, and a manager who utilizes the system daily.

As I continue to learn more and more about Paylocity, I am confident the system will continue to streamline my day-to-day duties.

Paylocity Support

Everyone wants immediate assistance. Awaiting a response from an email only to ask 2-3 more questions is time consuming. Within the first six months of setup, I would rather respond back to the instructors who provided me the training in each category of my contract.
