Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We used Paylocity for human resources management, payment information (such as paystubs and W2), and general company information and benefits.
  • Ease of Use
  • User Friendly, Simple Navigation
  • Central Location for HR information
  • The UX is outdated and makes it a dread to use.
  • Custom Service wasn't great when we need things updated or changed on the platform
  • Confusing at first, took awhile to learn
  • Streamlined our payroll management processes and systems.
  • Helped us submit our reimbursement requests
  • We did our time reporting but no one liked to do that.
I wouldn't say it reallly affected our business that much, it just made it easier for HR.
I don't think it had that big of an impact...No one used it that frequently and I don't think people really trusted the platform or some of the metrics.
ADP Workforce is much better, and I don't think that is a super good platform either.

I would say Paylocity is good for smaller organizations or businesses that don't have excess of funds on hand. Paylocity is cheap compared to other platforms but there are reasons for that. It is straight up not as good as its competitors and needs a revamp. If you just need some simple solutions like payroll management, it is not a bad bet to use it.
