Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for recruiting, payroll, benefit administration, and employee record management. It has been most helpful in maintaining employee records and payroll processing. We have been especially impressed with the new payroll changes they rolled out this quarter. It makes it more user friendly and consolidates things to make the process more smooth and efficient.

Paylocity's recent payroll updates, Payroll Reimagined, have been very welcomed updates to our payroll process. They not only have helped automate processes, but have also helped manage the process and localize it more. We have been very pleased with the new rollout so far. We have no complaints on the scheduling and time tracking side either.
We utilize the Community platform for company wide announcements. It is an easy and efficient way to communicate things that are urgent and vital to the whole organization. It is a lot easier than mass email campaigns or having to go down the chain of command to pass down information.
I think Paylocity is a more rudimentary HRIS system than UKG. There are pros and cons to each. I have found that Paylocity is great for the employee facing pieces. It makes it easy for the employee to make changes themselves through the self service features. The one thing I miss about UKG is their reporting. It was more robust and it saved a lot of time gathering the data we need.

Having worked in other HRIS systems before, Paylocity is very user friendly. It is very easy to learn and use the system to your advantage, especially if you have experience in a more complex system. I would recommend it to a smaller company with an employee count of around 500 or less.
