Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity primarily for Payroll and have started using it for expenses as well as training.
- Payroll is very user friendly
- Switching between modules is easy
- The recruiting module is great
- I would like to be able to create expense reports in administrator mode
- I also wish I could easily map my own expense codes for the exporting into our accounting system.
- Implementation team should also be more hands on, not just a guide to read

The automation makes it much easier for us to keep track of all the onboarding tasks that have to be completed and allows for an easy transition from the recruiting process to get the information added into Paylocity as an employee. Additionally, it is easy to modify errors that new hires may make, not realizing the info they add is part of their profile.
We have just started to use the community and peer recognition aspects but we are already receiving positive reviews. I like the idea of issuing reminders that go through the HRIS system directly to the employees.
Paylocity has all the tools of Workday, but in a much more intuitive and user-friendly format.
