Overall Satisfaction with PowerDMS

We utilize powerdms as a way to manage our policy and procedures manual. We are able to create, edit, distribute, and audit our entire policy. We have full search options that include file name and content. We now have accountability and the ability to run reports to ensure policy compliance. Powerdms is also used to manage out state accreditation.

PowerDMS is the first type of document management and accreditation tool our agency has every used. We shopped around at meetings and conferences to determine which system worked the best. We received the most feedback about PowerDMS and have been very happy since the purchase. It is a great asset to our agency.
All law enforcement policy management and law enforcement accreditation. I also use it to put resources on the web making it available to on duty personnel. We utilize it for maps, floor plans, checklists, forms, and resource guides. The deputies can obtain information from any mobile device or internet connected device.

Using PowerDMS

120 - Law enforcement officers, administrative staff, staff support, agency administrators, and supervisors. We have found a use for PowerDMS in nearly all aspects of our agency. We have four divisions (Administration, Patrol, Investigations, and Civil Process/Court Security). We provide general information to all members of the agency and specialized services to individual divisions.
4 - Very little skill is required to support PowerDMS, you need a basic computer understanding at best. The important requirement is that you have a full understanding of your organization and then the sky is the limit. Creating groups requires that you think through the way that you plan on using PowerDMS so that you can maximize efficiency while getting full use of the product. Once your groups are set up the rest is easy.
