Implementation Rating

Did not feel like there was any training available (overview type) without going through a lot of work and time. Would be nice to have had an online video to watch when convenient with a general overview. In addition to that, the option of selecting specific areas where you needed help with a more detailed description.

Ease of Integration

It took a little to long to figure out where things where and how to make it work. Slowed down the process on my end.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The General Contractor asked us to utilize the Procore system to respond to RFI's and Submittals that require the Architecture Firm' response/clarification and/or approval. It addresses the tracking of questions and answers from the field and submission review status, reminds us of outstanding items and new submissions

Pros and Cons

Provides an electronic platform for communication.
Allows users to access all the information from any location via online base.
Clean archiving of a whole project.

Could be more user friendly in how you find information.
Make new items stand out in an separate format and not combine all information in one area.
Make dates and times of comments/submissions more visual at a glance for determining status.

Collaboration Benefits

We have not had an opportunity/need to take advantage of this feature.

Return on Investment

Increased communication between Architect/MEP and the site.
Created some confusion as to status of items. Was not immediately clear what the status may be.

Alternatives Considered

Procore has many options to help, I just did not use all of them. Seems If you are really looking for a full service Construction Administration service this could really capture all your needs.

Likelihood to Recommend

When there are several iterations of questions and answers for on initial question, the layout of Procore does not make it immediately obvious what is the most recent and who said it. There are times when the notifications can be overwhelming. It would be nice to have a broad range of options when it comes to how you receive your reminders. Maybe certain disciplines only send you notifications. Or, when you take the time to glance at something that was submitted and you attempt to leave it without responding that you are prompted to be reminded again in XXX amount of time.
