Overall Satisfaction with Procore

You should map out the implementation before starting. You need to have a team discussion and get complete buy-in on how to implement. Also, don't implement when your teams are already overloaded, it will cause project challenges.
We started implementing while rolling out our largest project portfolio to date. The learning curve and our project focus hurt our project delivery.
Procore is being implemented across our entire company, specifically over operations (project delivery). The biggest challenges we see are:
  1. Our overall process (how we are using the Procore tool)
  2. Financials and project job cost reporting. The tie between Procore and our accounting software (QuickBooks) is not seamless.
  • Procore has a great layout for project managers of all skill set to follow.
  • Procore has a great daily log feature.
  • Procore provides continuing training
  • Procore needs to have an accounting software.
  • Procore needs a Weekly Project report.
  • Procore needs a Business Develop tool
We have primarily focused on using the Procore tool internally and with our subcontractors. While we have provided access to some clients, they are not very engaged. Also, client access to too much project information can be a problem.
  • Procore has helped us reduce paperwork.
  • Procore is helping us define our process & reporting.
  • Procore is helping us communication a a project team.
Procore is one of the best, with the exception of the job cost and accounting gap.
Procore is well suited for a mature company, where project managers need a formal tool. Also, where project are complex and record keeping is critical.
