Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are a construction management firm, and as such our entire company interacts with Procore in some way. Since Procore is an online construction management software package we are able to manage the project in the field and in the office without relying on traditional methods of hard copies and faxing for document management.
- Best in class contract management and customization.
- Robust drawing and document management tools.
- Near full utilization of tools available on mobile app.
- Integration between tools such as Contracts, RFIs, Punchlist, Drawings, etc.
- As with any construction software it lacks full flexibility based on project procurement type e.g. Multiple Prime Contracts. Best suited for Design - Bid - Build.
- Relies on its own document management system so if you utilize your own cloud storage (Dropbox, Onedrive, Google Drive) you'll see some redundancies.
- As with most construction management software packages sub-contractor buy in can be difficult.
Procore is more expensive but its features are more robust. Also has enough flexibility to be compatible for our project types.
Procore offers great customization in user access, and has great collaborative design built in to each of their tools.
Most tools from field reports, meeting minutes, to RFIs have default and customizable distribution lists. Any process requiring approvals lets you select single or multiple approvers with tracking.

Since most of the tools allow you to export to csv or pdf tracking and analyzing data is streamlined. Many actions are also timestamped eliminating he said she said scenarios on many contract issues. We do not self perform but there is a myriad of field productivity tools you can use as well.
