Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use Procore as our main project management software from bidding to project completion. It interfaces with our Finance department through a ERP link to Sage. Procore compiles and stores all of our information pertaining to the specific projects and allows for extraction of information through the various reports and tools.
  • Budget forecasting and tracking.
  • Project schedule is uploaded and sent out to all subcontractors on a regular basis and documented.
  • Detailed reports are either standard or custom allowing project information to be extracted and reported to subcontractors and owners.
  • Project photo records are easy to upload and provides a detailed photographic timeline of the project.
  • Subcontractor Invoicing. You should be able to see at a glance all of the information that is currently on the pay applications. As of now, you have to pull up each sub-invoice separately. Billing/Invoice detail should be in one place to include all commitment information without having to pull a custom report.
  • A person's email address should be able to be assigned to more than one company.
Have not used any other software.
The cloud-based platform works great in being able to keep all parties up to date in real time. Owners love to see progress photos as they happen. Field superintendents are spending less time on paperwork and providing more information into the project record than using paper reporting. This has benefited marketing for new work and assisted in resolving disputes in our favor as the facts are at our fingertips.

All features are used by management at all levels to get the required information out there so that informed decisions can be made.
All of the information inputted into Procore is available in various other areas with cuts down in duplication of effort. The integration with accounting through ERP has saved countless hours.
The Budget Tool and ERP integration with our accounting software (SAGE), allows us up-to-date information as to where the project financials are at any given time period. Prime contract SOV can be brought over from the initial budget and modified to meet the information that we want the Owner to see in a pay application. The subcontractor SOV and invoicing needs to be worked on to make it more user-friendly.
