Procore for professionals
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We use Procore to share real-time information with our employees. Communicating what was done in the field, what changes were made to the design when confronted with obstacles on-site, and ensuring that all stakeholders have equal access to the latest information enables us to save time.
Pros
- Communication between stakeholders.
- Repository for information.
- Real-time updates.
Cons
- Difficult to download drawing packages. An email with a link is sent then you have to open that.
- Saves time.
- Saves paper.
- Quicker communication as things are updated almost immediately.
I have not used any other kind of product like Procore. This was selected by the company where I work. Since I am in charge of training for my company (among other duties) I have the pleasure of making certain our workers are comfortable with Procore and the way it's used for us.
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
We primarily focus on the document communication tools.
Yes! So, our techs in the field can redline drawings by using the app and then our drafting folks can update the drawings from that rather than needing to carry a paper copy to the field and then bring it back to headquarters. The redline options include a variety of drawing/communications tools.
