Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense
Qlik Sense is being utilised as a data analytics and insights tool across the organisation. It is aimed at making data more accessible to users who are generally not used to querying data in traditional data analysis tools such as SQL and/or SAS. The self service capability allows users to be data driven and use data to support their hypothesis.
- Speed of data queries and presenting results
- Highly customisable
- Front end UI is easy to use
- Better integration to share reports/data natively
- Better scaling options. I find it hard to create a report that's suitable for both laptops and big monitor screens
- Data was extracted from multiple unstructured sources and represented in Qlik Sense. This was a tremendous help to identify data gaps and trends at a holistic level.
Qlik Sense is far superior to QlikView simply due to the self service functionality. The simple fact that there is an option to expose the entire data set for users to 'do as they like' is a positive step in the right direction. Of course, you can still have pre-made reports built for users who do not need to utilise the self service function.
