Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

We use it for our entire project management side of the business. From start to finish, from quoting to installing the goods, it's all managed inside of our database. Our accounting is also inside of it as well, so it's all intermingled and it's given us an edge over our competition because we can always add anything a client wants or needs. If we don't have it already, we can modify it to be able to produce whatever they need and it gives us an easy and quick way to deliver results.
  • The efficiency of how quick you can modify, adjust, and add features - and the simplicity of it as well.
  • It's user-friendly.
  • The fact that they are always adding more and more, it gives a peace of mind that they added pipeline. So now we can connect to our SharePoint, everything's always fluid.
  • I would say that they do have a really good user support type network, but it's not as entrenched and not as many use cases as would be ideal.
  • Super positive just because even I created a module where we can forecast and see the previous years of our profits. We can see our growth going up, and it's only because we can create more efficient apps for our users to use so that they can take on more projects. We're not really growing our team too fast, but they can still accelerate or expand their performance so that they can do more work.
Building and deploying business applications faster, improving our ability to drive insights of our data, and improving collaboration across our teams. All of these - and we succeeded with that. We've created other apps for client portals. We have a game plan to create more apps. And it was achieved.
I had knowledge prior to it, but it was really quick for me to pick up. I don't know if other people on my team have, but I have given permissions to edit reports and they haven't really utilized it - but I think it's just more along the lines of them not going into it, rather than it not being super easy to use. I think it's very easy to use and references are super easy to look up if you are confused about anything.
We are using Quickbase for complex project management. So from bidding out to vendors, to requesting or doing a cash flow with clients, to budgeting, to installing, and warehousing across the board. We use and benefit from the versatility of Quickbase. If anyone comes up with anything, we can do that. We just figure out the best way to do that as efficiently as possible.
Quickbase has a pipeline, so we're trying to figure out how we can connect those two sides. Right now we're trying to flesh out which side is the data we wanna actually work with. That's the only other one I've used specifically that I know is very similar in the way you can like build your own database from the ground up and that works well, too.

Yes

Did Quickbase live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Quickbase go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Quickbase again?

Yes

It's very well suited for quick-moving industries where you need to be able to adjust to certain clients in certain ways. Like project management, I think it's suited extremely well in all personalities with accounting as well. I think where it may be not as well suited is HR, such as time off. We couldn't really pin down a good way to have the HR side in our business with Quickbase.
