Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

We use quick books on a day to day basis for all our accounting needs

Pros

  • Invoice Creation
  • Payment Application
  • Bills Payment

Cons

  • When you are in the Payment application and you change an invoice it should not auto-select the invoices again
  • Backup in variably gives us rebuild errors
  • We should not have to go in to single user to change the income account for an item
  • Quickbooks allows us to get the data in real time
  • Our month end financials form QB help us forecast
  • The ease of using QB means that we can train new hires with QB usage
We were at 20 employees when we started using QB we are now at over 300 employees and have continued to use QB
The install and set up was done within an hour - it is very simple and QB has an amazing support staff to assist with any QB related questions or issues
QB helps us have all our accounting-related information in one system - also the use of API with QB assists us with combining custom software with QB in order to integrate 3rd party software's to run custom programs

Quick books are very scalable - they can be used by one-person corps as well as mega conglomerates. It is not suitable for PO based work/tracking PO amounts and usage
