Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Financial accounting software, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable sub ledgers, financial reporting, budgets to actual reporting.
Pros
- Accounts Payable.
- Financial Accounting.
- Accounts Receivable.
Cons
- Service statistic reporting.
- Financial Reporting - ease of document creation.
- Data mining - ease of getting at certain data.
- Created efficiencies by moving away from manual processes.
- Very easy to train and get staff up to speed on day-to-day operation.
- Professional-looking end products.
Efficiencies have been created within the workflows, as well as during problem-solving or information requests. Aged Payables and Aged Receivables are available at the click of a button which helps to ensure we are receiving payments and making payments in a timely manner.
We have several different programs running under one entity. The use of departments/cost centers has helped us immensely when it comes to segregating revenues and expenses for program reporting purposes.

- Epicor Kinetic (formerly Epicor ERP)
Epicor was a higher-powered product for a larger setting. While it had good features, they were likely offset by the software being less user-friendly. Staff would need to become experts in Epicor in order to keep day-to-day workflow going, i.e. required a lot of upfront training. Intacct is intuitive and easy to learn. Staff can quickly become comfortable with the software which reduces the upfront training required.
