Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Our company would not be able to run reports with the amount of detail needed without the use of Sage Intacct. Our previous software worked as a small company but as we grew we knew we would need a software that would be able to grow with us. Sage Intacct also allowed us to grow and add more users that could invoice at the same time without causing duplicate invoice numbers or overwriting each other throughout the day.
  • Custom Interactive Report Writer
  • Custom Objects
  • Approval Process in AP
  • Multi-User for AR
  • Bank connectivity
  • AR Payment Import
  • Better Detail on Reporting
  • Time saving with multiple people invoicing
  • Real Time Dashboards to provide numbers to management
Sage Intacct has allowed us to map our GL accounts within the system to accurately track our income and expenses. We use our month end time to review and analyze the information instead of trying to enter all of the data into the correct accounts. This allows the accounting department to bring value to our company instead of just data entry.
We currently use Sage Intacct for multi-entity (5 companies) that we track our projects or cases in. We are then able to use the project tracking and tag expenses and invoices to the project for more in depth reporting. This allows our management team to get a better cost analysis of where we need to focus for growth.
Our current VP of Finance has implement[ed] Sage Intacct a few times so we were able to implement Sage Intacct without the use of a vendor. The process of implementing was well defined and we understood what was needed from us to move forward. The amount of data and configuring is time consuming, so it does require strong time management skills.

QuickBooks worked well for our small company and we used it for 10+ years. As our company grew and we needed better insight on our data we knew we needed an upgrade on our software. QuickBooks did not allow for us to invoice with more than 1 user at a time which caused backlog on our invoicing team. We also needed more of an online platform so that we could access our data from anywhere we need to without having to be at a specific computer.
Sage Intacct has allowed our company to position ourselves for scalability. The multi entity setup within Sage Intacct has allowed us to use one software with one login (per person) and have access to multiple companies at the same time. This has significantly helped with AR invoices, AP payments and reporting. We are also using Interactive Custom Report Writer that allows us to customize the reports to fit the needs of our management team.
