Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

SAP HANA is used by different teams in our organization. SAP HANA has an amazing speed for running queries for multiple years in one report. Tool is flexible and user-friendly. This tool helps us on a day to day basis for planning and forecasting purposes. SAP HANA is integrated with multiple sources to provide one consolidated view.

  • Quick turnaround time for huge data set with multiple fields to customize our reporting needs.
  • In memory calculations
  • Realiability of data
  • If the SAP HANA deployment price is reduced this will help small companies to afford the tool
  • Limited functionality with FIORI apps
  • The time for deployment is little concerning; maybe it can be reduced.
  • For now I did not find any Return on Investment

This tool helps to consolidate data from multiple sources for huge data set and helps to analyse our reporting needs on day to day basis. Tool is user friendly to customize the required fields and build queries as required. The speed at which it operates to get large volume or multiple source data for is really amazing.
Not so good
This has been implemented in our organization overall and decisions rely on our management. As I do not have insights to comment on it. However, I have been using the tool for more than 3 years and I do not see any challenges with the tool. I appreciate it is a good decision.
If you want an ERP solution with large amount of data from multiple sources SAP HANA is a well versed tool in the current market place. Tool helps data to customise the reports, export and build as required for the end user. The speed for running complex data set that involved billions of data is simply great.
