Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

It is our main database. It is the basis of our ERP, BW and so on.

  • Locking was not clear for me (differences between column and row-based)
  • Performance boost
DB2 does an implicit ordering. The hardware base was different, that's why it is hard to compare both of them.
I am very satisfied with the product (performance, availablity, scalability and up coming features).
