Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

We use SAP SuccessFactors to manage all of our HR processes, from recruitment to onboarding, HR administration, and payroll. We use SAP for our ERP systems, so SuccessFactors fit well into our overall strategy. We're also making a concerted effort to convert to cloud technologies whenever appropriate, and SAP SuccessFactors was the logical next step from our on-prem SAP HR tools.
  • The completeness of vision
  • Scope of the resources and organization behind the products
  • Fostering a partner ecosystem
  • Releases can be buggy
  • Integration management tools could be improved.
  • Better commitment to delivery timeframes
  • Reduced environment management costs
  • Payroll and HR integration
  • Employee Self Service experience
I find that the tools are present to integrate with other tools easily, and multiple options provide the flexibility necessary to align with a wide array of methodologies. Unfortunately, integrations may end up with a larger than a desirable set of errors that must be managed and corrected.
I feel SAP SuccessFactors is catching up on the user interface and the flexibility that is available to configure and manage business processes. You can tell that SAP SuccessFactors is making a strong push to bring SAP forward from the very technical look and feel of legacy SAP HR products. There is a much clearer focus on the employee and non-HR users.

Do you think SAP SuccessFactors delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with SAP SuccessFactors's feature set?

Yes

Did SAP SuccessFactors live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of SAP SuccessFactors go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy SAP SuccessFactors again?

Yes

SAP SuccessFactors are well suited to companies who are already an SAP shop for their ERP systems. The ease of integrating the HR and operational systems make SAP SuccessFactors a logical choice in this context. I do not feel like it would be as appropriate for small companies that use other ERP providers.
