Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

We use SAP SuccessFactors to track team member learning (validated learning module). We also use it for annual goal setting and performance reviews, including quarterly check-ins. We also run a mentoring program in the system.
  • Listens to user needs via the influence program
  • Provides good support, especially via the Preferred Success Program
  • Allows for extensibility and supports common integrations
  • Provisioning access is required for certain functions that customers should be able to do for themselves.
  • We were able to combine five learning systems into one.
There are many integration options, however data mapping can be difficult.
Overall, we have had positive implementation experiences, but much of this depends on the implementation partner. That being said, the SAP Preferred Success team always provides great support during implementation projects.
We have used the on-premise SAP HCM product for many years, so we don't have a good (or recent) comparison to make.

SAP SuccessFactors is flexible in implementation because the customer can use some modules without using others. This flexibility does mean, however, that integration between various modules has to be configured (not ready "out of the box").
