Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

We use ScienceLogic mainly for our EM7 application.It has been used crossed the organization for issue and ticketing system. It's email and notification function works very well. We currently only use EM7, but we noticed Science Logic offer a wide range of products we can use for monitoring, scheduling, and much more. we will sure explore more options in the future.

  • Offering some free on-demand trainings would be nice.
  • Improve product's stability.
  • Provide webinars for new products and their features.
  • EM7 uses drbd and we often experience split brain issue after failover.
  • Science Logic EM7's capability made failover much easier.
  • Tech support staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I am a user of the software. I evaluate and make new software recommendations to management. I work in the infrastructure branch to provide database support to our customers. I perform failovers, backups, and manage EM7. I appreciate EM7's user friendly GUI interface. It made the admin job a lot easier. We are looking for a better monitoring tool for our application.
We need a faster and reliable ticketing and application monitoring system. We also want the capability to write custom scripts for the tools. Our business requires 100% up time and no data loss. For a ticketing system, we are looking for [something that is] easy use and manage, email notifications, self-documentation, and easy to search for tickets, etc.
We have not used any ScienceLogic workflow automation tools yet. We would like to explore this area in the future.
ScienceLogic is up on the front edge of today's technology. It has good customer support and good products. We heard ScienceLogic also has Powersync and PowerMap etc., which could be a great help in our business. In today's complex world, a better centralized monitoring tool would save us a lot.
ScienceLogic could help with application monitoring. ScienceLogic's EM7 really helps with issues and ticketing. It is very easy to use and manage. Its feature are very easy to use. Failover is simple. However, we have experienced split-brain issues a few times. We hope this area could be improved in the future.
