Overall Satisfaction with SilkRoad Recruiting
Our organization uses SilkRoad Recruiting for all our organization's hiring needs. The platform is used by tellers all the way up to the CEO. The platform allows us to screen and review resumes and share them with our managers and departments located all across the DFW area.
- Tracking notes for sharing with other hiring managers.
- Workflows to keep managers and recruiters on track and constantly communicating.
- Standard email templates to make communicating with prospective employees easy.
- Connecting applications for the same person. There seems to be a missing link between allowing someone who we have declined and would never hire and allowing them to apply again and put them back in the stack without taking into account previous decisions.
- Interface needs to be updated.
- Customization is not very good. You have to go with what you are given
- No real impact because we have a small recruiting department
- Has helped lower turnover over the past two years because of the ability to track notes
- Taleo and iVantage
SilkRoad is definitely an improvement from the previous two [products] we have used. We selected SilkRoad Recruiting because it boasted more features than we were looking for at the time and it also tied into the SilkRoad HRMS system.

Evaluating SilkRoad Recruiting and Competitors
Yes - iVantage, the system was very outdated and old school and the only way you could get an update for the system was to pay for someone to fly out and come and install the update.

Product Features. It was a huge improvement from iVantage.
Probably would have held of on making the purchase until we had attended one of the large HR Technology fairs and seen what was out there. We jumped on SilkRoad because of a referral from business partner who used it.
