Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We are a 300-person company and Slack makes it easier to interact with each other and create chat rooms organized by topic and team. We also use Slack for private groups, and direct messaging, which is useful as well. Also it is super easy to call someone and share your screen. You can even draw on your screen while you share it, which is a great feature.
- Screen sharing
- Direct messaging
- Quality of calls
- Organizing chat rooms
- Some of the features like "Mentions and Reactions" don't get used a lot
- Another section that doesn't get a lof of use is "Threads"
- Technical team productivity improvement with the integration of the Jira app
- Cut the costs and risks of email
- Increased collaboration among remote teams and more efficient business processes. This is especially true with the reduction of single meetings where is easier to estimate the ROI (hourly wage of employee multiplied by hours saved).
Slack is more user-friendly than Microsoft Teams, at least in my opinion. Microsoft Teams integrates natively with Office 365 tools. Microsoft Teams has a limit of five users on paid plans unless you buy more
licenses, whereas Slack allows unlimited external collaboration with paid
plans. Microsoft Teams offers more robust video conferencing. It can support video conferences of up to 250 users.
