Slack can be personalized and used for a company. It has web access and also a great app. It has now great integrations and new features as calls, sharing screen, marking on screen shared, camera, channels, mentions, notifications on desktop and mobile app, status integration with calendar and other tools and many more.

Slack is well suited for instant communication, also for calls, sharing screen is a great feature, managing channels, mentions, cards are great improvements we have on that tool I would definitely recommend. The less appropriate is for sharing camera, the quality is not so good and we don't have much personalization on that part.
