Not happy with SmartRecruiters - they are aware that we are not happy

Overall Satisfaction with SmartRecruiters

It is being used across the entire organization for our recruiting and interviewing needs.

Pros

  • SmartRecruiters has a nice UI and interviews are easy to set up.

Cons

  • It is very hard to get reports or analytics from smartrecruiters.
  • It is hard for me to find candidates once in the database once they have been moved to the rejected phase.
  • Lead candidates candidates processes are very confusing.
  • I don't know my ROI with SmartRecruiters because I cannot get reports that tell me detailed numbers, there are reports in SR but they do not give me the details. If I have a candidate that has been in new for 3 weeks I can see from their graphs that information but I cannot see who that specific candidate is.
I did not select SmartRecruiters, it was already in place when I started my employment.
It is not an ATS so for our purposes it does not meet our needs as we grow.

We take your feedback very seriously, and have actually made some serious improvements based on what you and some other customers have said. Smartrecruiters’ key mission is to provide all of our customers with the ultimate candidate and internal user experience. Regarding reporting, there has been many updates, for instance you can export on demand directly from the API to a csv file. One of our latest features is a report builder. Also in the applicant flow report you can see the names of the candidates, when they have applied and their stage in the application process. Regarding the management of your candidates, you can go to the ‘Applicant list’, which contains all the candidates that have applied to a particular job. Furthermore, you mentioned the difficulty of finding candidates in the database once they have been moved to the rejected phase. I am sorry but we can not make this easier due to the current GDPR regulations; the personal information of rejected applicants can not be kept by SmartRecruiters. If you are no longer a customer: I know you did not have the best experience with SmartRecruiters, but I’m confident that with our product updates and improvements based on your feedback, we could really turn that around.
