Overall Satisfaction with SmartyAds DSP

SmartyAds DSP is used as an alternative to the traditional array of DSPs we use for our campaigns. Its quite easy to use and the platform is very user-friendly so there is no time wasted, and campaigns can be uploaded fast. Since SmartyAds has a quite different supply portfolio than the regular DSPs, it adds variety to our usual traffic sources.

  • Interesting integrations.
  • Limited bidding options. CPA bidding does not work well.
  • Support team isn't very good.
  • Healthy margin, increasing ROI.
  • Inventory a bit expensive, increasing cost and decreasing ROI.
MoPub is more focused and tries to reach a more typical inventory. SmartyAds DSP covers the different consumer touchpoints across various formats and works on providing different inventory sources to differentiate from traditional DSPs. They copy the look and feel of traditional platforms, but they need to develop more their reporting tools.
SmartyAds DSP works well when you want to impact the user in all of their journeys across different formats. As it works on CTV, mobile, and desktop, you can try sequential ads between different platforms, which is quite interesting and is a very strong advantage over more focused DSPs like MoPub or Smaato.
