Splashtop Enterprise's remote support solution is used by IT support personnel to provide technical aid for end-users of the company's IT systems as well as for remote support of the server infrastructure. It is used as well for the installation of needed software updates and end-user applications. It has proved invaluable for off-hours support needs.
- Troubleshooting with end users via remote connections.
- Updating end users' applications via remote connections.
- Access to servers for operating system and application updates.
- It is often difficult for end-users to successfully locate the SOS application on the website. The primary access screen has way too much content which is confusing.
- The system seldom allows successful reconnections to end-user workstations during sessions that require reboots.
- It has proved to be an effective replacement for previously used, more expensive remote system support and access tools.
Splashtop Enterprise has become a critical tool for providing support to end-users.
The tool was very easy to set up and configure for the required remote access features.
