Overall Satisfaction with SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey is used to create ad-hoc surveys in a variety of offices, to a variety of constituents on campus. They can vary from short to long and have simple to complex logic. It gives us a way to collect data, quickly and easily, about events and topics on campus, past and future.

  • Easy to mail out.
  • Easy to view results.
  • Could use more complex logic.
  • SurveyMonkey has made surveying easy and affordable.
  • It has opened up options to survey things that we might not have done before.
  • I appreciate that we can go back and review our data for some time.
As far as survey building goes, I prefer SurveyMonkey. It's more intuitive. When it comes to data, though, I feel like Qualtrics gave us more to work with and process after the fact.
We have used SurveyMonkey for everything from informal surveys to more formal, organization-wide surveys. Really, there isn't much SurveyMonkey can't do! I recommend it wholeheartedly. It is simple and easy to use and helps you to quickly accomplish what you need to. I can't think of many scenarios where it isn't appropriate, unless you need something with more complex logic (detailed "if, then" kinds of things).
