We use TeamViewer to connect to customers' computers to help them configure our system or walk them through step by step. We also use it to help verify bugs by asking our customers to repeat issues on their own machine. We can also use TeamViewer to show product demonstrations, although for this we would usually use GoToMeeting

- TeamViewer does crash occasionally, and restarting the session can be tedious.
- If the other user moves a curser or types something it can be a bit chaotic
- It has helped our customers a lot because we can help with their issues quickly and effectively

GoToMeeting is better for demonstrations. TeamViewer is a great support tool to see what your end user is doing. TeamViewer can be used to access remote machines and servers, although remote desktop is more reliable for server management.
TeamViewer can be accessed for free and is easy to install on customers machines. It is good to store user access details to make sure it is quick and easy to connect whenever required
